Combining a career as a professor of business administration for over 20 years with a career as a consultant to organizations throughout the United States, Bob has gained a reputation as a reliable advisor to library directors and their staffs. Libraries throughout the region have adopted his innovative ideas. Bob earned his MBA from Temple University with a concentration in accounting and his MLIS from Rutgers University with a concentration in library administration and management. He is the author of four books and over 80 articles on management issues, he is the columnist on library human resources management issues for the Emerald journal The Bottom Line: Managing Library Finances, and he has presented workshops at major library conferences and staff retreats.

He currently teaches courses in human resources management, labor relations, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, marketing, legal studies, non-profit management, career development, and healthcare administration. Bob is also the director of a special business library that serves the undergraduate business administration and healthcare administration students as well as the MBA students. The library uses the corporate library model.
